Horizontal Multistage Pumps - HMW Series
The HMW Series Horizontal Multistage Pumps are robust, high-performance centrifugal pumps engineered for demanding applications requiring high pressure and efficiency. These pumps consist of two or more impellers mounted on a common shaft, with each stage comprising an impeller and a ring-section casing.
The pumps feature dynamically balanced impellers with replaceable wear rings to maintain optimal clearance and high efficiency over long operating periods. To effectively manage axial thrust, the impellers can be arranged back-to-back in pairs or groups, improving overall hydraulic balance.
The pump shaft is supported by bush bearings in each casing, designed to withstand significant radial loads. This between-bearing design minimizes or eliminates axial thrust, enhancing reliability and extending service life.
