Submersible Aerators - AR Series
The Diffuser Type Aerator is a submersible aeration device designed for high-efficiency oxygen transfer and effective water agitation. It operates by utilizing a specially engineered impeller that generates a strong liquid flow. As the impeller rotates, it creates a negative pressure on its vanes, drawing in atmospheric air through an intake mechanism.
This aspirated air is then aggressively mixed with the water within the impeller and guiding vanes, producing a high volume of fine micro-bubbles. The mixture of air and water is discharged uniformly in multiple directions around the aerator’s circumference, ensuring broad and even distribution throughout the water body.
The system benefits from the combined effects of air lift and convective currents generated during the mixing process. These forces significantly enhance aeration performance, promoting higher oxygen dissolution rates and thorough mixing. As a result, the diffuser type aerator is highly effective for applications requiring increased oxygen levels and improved water quality, such as in wastewater treatment plants, aquaculture systems, and industrial water bodies.
